Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Roy did excellent work on our kitchen remodel and was a pleasure to work with. Honest, and a good communicator. He had to deal with a tough condo board, but was always professional. We do not live full time in Florida, so his work ethic and professionalism were greatly appreciated. Thanks, Roy!

All Question Answer

Frequently Asked Question

How do I know if my kitchen or bathroom needs a remodel?

Signs include outdated designs, worn fixtures, or poor layouts. If your space feels cramped, inefficient, or dated, a remodel can improve functionality and boost your home’s value.

What are the latest trends in kitchen and bathroom design?

Current trends include walk-in showers, double vanities, quartz countertops, custom cabinetry, smart lighting, and eco-friendly finishes. Our team guides you in choosing styles that fit your taste and lifestyle.

Can I stay in my home during the remodel?

In most bathroom and kitchen remodels, you can stay in your home. We section off the work area to minimize disruption. For full home renovations, we’ll advise on the best plan to keep you comfortable and safe.

What is included in a full home renovation?

A full home renovation can include kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, lighting, and even room additions. We create a customized plan that covers design, permits, and construction start to finish.

How do you ensure quality during a full home renovation?

Roy, the owner, is on-site daily to supervise, we use professionals, and only high-quality materials. We also maintain open communication so you know exactly what’s happening at every stage.

Will I need permits for my full home renovation?

Yes. Most renovations in Palm Beach and Broward require permits. We Coordinate all applications, paperwork, and inspections to ensure your project meets local building codes to help you keep your project on track..

What is the 30% rule in remodeling?

The 30% rule suggests that you should not spend more than 30% of your home’s value on remodeling. For example, if your home is valued at $300,000, major renovations should stay within $90,000. This helps ensure you don’t over-invest compared to the resale value of your property.

What’s the difference between remodeling and renovating?

Renovation usually means updating finishes such as paint, flooring, or fixtures to refresh the space. Remodeling goes deeper — it changes the layout, structure, or plumbing/electrical to create a new design. At Atlantic View Builders, we specialize in both cosmetic renovations and full-scale remodels.

Is $50,000 enough to renovate a house?

It depends on the size of the home and the scope of work. In Palm Beach County, $50,000 may cover a mid-range kitchen remodel, a couple of bathroom upgrades, or cosmetic updates across the house. For a full home renovation, costs are typically higher, but we create tailored plans to fit your budget.

How much should you spend on remodeling your home?

Experts recommend spending 5–15% of your home’s value on remodeling projects to maximize return on investment. For example, a $400,000 home may justify $20,000–$60,000 in upgrades. Kitchens and bathrooms usually offer the highest resale value when remodeled.
